Why do other friends retire from a 20+ year long career and get a BIG party but it’s not common for real estate agent?

In my opinion, there are many agents who are still practicing real estate today because they ABSOLUTELY LOVE what they do and those are the ones who have it figured out. The agents who I’m referring to are the ones who DON’T truly have a book of business worth selling, they feel trapped and they are financially stuck and still NEED to sell houses to make ends meet.

I was that agent. I can remember hearing other agents talking about their databases and feeling like such a MESS!
