Are You a Single Mom? Do You Know One? Read This...

Are you a single mom?

I've been there.

I will never forget the day I had to go look at apartments alone. I had been living in a huge, beautiful house as a family. But now it was time for me to face the reality of renting a small place for just me and the kids.

Divorce sucks. Until you're a single parent, you can't understand the stress and pressure that goes along with it. I know I didn’t until I experienced it myself.

But I refused to believe that I couldn’t have a successful, joyful and financially secure life.

It was hard. I'm not gonna lie. But I found other single moms to inspire and encourage me. I refused to believe the lie that everything would be a struggle because I was on my own.

If you are where I was, I want to help.  I have learned to, not only survive, but THRIVE on my own. Fast forward a few years and I even found a way to buy a place of my own. I built a great business and I truly believe that you can do the same.

Watch this video and then send me a message at rebeccad@kw.com. I can't wait to hear from you!

Why Realtors DON'T Retire....

Have you ever been invited to a real estate agents’ retirement party?

I certainly don’t get invited to many.

Why is that?

Why is it so uncommon in our industry?

In my opinion, there are many agents who can’t imagine retiring because they love what they do. They could step back, or retire completely, if they wanted to. They have a business on which a market value could be placed and that would be appealing to another agent to purchase.

But there’s another group who can’t retire. Not because they don’t want to, but because they don’t have a business worth selling. Not only that, it’s their only stream of income. If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that if you have your real estate license and work for Keller Williams you have four potential streams of income, including passive ones.

When I say they don’t have a business worth selling, here’s what I mean.

  • They have built a great business over the years however they have failed to build replicable systems around what they do.

  • They don’t have a database with robust contact information and history. It’s not something that anyone else could take on and make sense of.

In short, they haven’t built anything that can function without them.

At one time I was that agent. I remember hearing other agents talking about their databases and feeling like such a mess! I barely had emails for my clients and relied solely on my (paper!) address book and contacts in my cell phone to reach out. Every time I thought about sending something by mail, I would come up with excuses because the list was so disorganized that I didn’t want to engage with it.

THE GOOD NEWS…

I can help! I have systems, tools and checklists that will help you truly build a business worth owning and more importantly a business worth SELLING someday.

Let’s connect. I would love to help you set up your business so you can truly leave a legacy someday.
